Waiting on Wednesday 16.08.17

Goodmorning guys ! Sorry I missed the meme last week, but I was ill and spend my time being miserable on the couch at home (and watching lots of Teen Wolf, I know, I'm horrible, but I love that show).
But I'm much better now ! Even though the weather is still awful... I mean, it is August !! It should be like 30°C out here.. but we're stuck around 20°C for weeks with lots of rain. When is it going to be summer ?!?!

But well, let's get back on topic. It is a new Wednesday, so this means another waiting on ! I noticed this one a while back when I was looking if some writers I read books from in the past had any new books for me to read, and this one kind of jumped out for me. I really liked her previous series and I had NO IDEA she was coming with a new novel !! Next month !! So here it is...

Jane, Unlimited by Kristin Cashore
Release Date. 19th of September 2017

Jane has lived an ordinary life, raised by her aunt Magnolia—an adjunct professor and deep sea photographer. Jane counted on Magnolia to make the world feel expansive and to turn life into an adventure. But Aunt Magnolia was lost a few months ago in Antarctica on one of her expeditions.

Now, with no direction, a year out of high school, and obsessed with making umbrellas that look like her own dreams (but mostly just mourning her aunt), she is easily swept away by Kiran Thrash—a glamorous, capricious acquaintance who shows up and asks Jane to accompany her to a gala at her family's island mansion called Tu Reviens.

Jane remembers her aunt telling her: "If anyone ever invites to you to Tu Reviens, promise me that you'll go." With nothing but a trunkful of umbrella parts to her name, Jane ventures out to the Thrash estate. Then her story takes a turn, or rather, five turns. What Jane doesn't know is that Tu Reviens will offer her choices that can ultimately determine the course of her untethered life. But at Tu Reviens, every choice comes with a reward, or a price.

Really curious about this one, hope it will be just as good as Graceling !! It most definitely sounds very intriguiging so we'll see...
What are you Waiting On this week ?

  2. I had no idea Kristin Cashore had another book coming out. It looks quite different from her usual genre of books, tough. I hope it's as good as the other books I've read by her.

    My WoW post.
