Top Ten TUESDAY. 15.03.16.

This meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

These last two weeks has been BRUTAL on me. I was (and still am) completely exhausted from all the hard work we had to put into our new home in a short time and moving last weekend. But most of our stuff has been unpacked and given a place in our new home since today ^^ Not everything is done yet.. but we’re getting there !

So, I really missed reading and working on my blog… But today is Tuesday and I’ll be posting, once again, another Top Ten Tuesday ! This week the theme is Top Ten Spring TBR, and I have a lot of those !! And the list is in no particular order.

Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare. I just got it last week and I can't wait to get started on this one !! Sooo looking forward to a new Shadowhunters series !

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. I've had this one on my shelves for a while, and with the release of the second book I should really make some time to get started. Plus, it got some mixed reviews from other bloggers I like, so I'm kind of curious were I stand.

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. I got it a while ago on sale from Amazon, and it got a lot of attention lately. So I want to free some time for this one soon.

End of Days by Susan Ee. I REALLY REALLY should finish this series. It has been released a while ago, but I keep putting it off.. I hate finishing series XD But I really should !

Stars Above from Marissa Meyer. Got this one in last week as well together with Lady Midnight, and I can't wait to read more about this world !! I kind of miss it..

Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan. A couple of years back I traded books with a good friend of mine. We saw each other every couple of months and gave each other books that we purchased and loved. But.. lately we haven't got to it any more and my books were still at hers and visa versa. So last month we met again and gotg our own books back. This one was with that ! I didn't even remember I had it !! Shame on me. But to make up for it I will read it soon hopefully.

Dead of Winter by Kresley Cole. I completely loved the first two books in this series (The Arcana Chonicles) but I kept putting this one off because I had to wait so long for the next one. But it will be released this May.. so I should get started soon ^^

The Darker Days Club by Alison Goodman. I loved the sound of this book, and it got a lot of positive feedback. So I got it, and now all I have to do is read it haha ^^

Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge. A fairy-tale retelling !! It got recommended to me.. and I got it on sale a couple of months back. So I should get started on this one soon, and it's not that long of a read, And well, the cover is so pretty !!

Every Last Breath by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Last in series.. should finish.. have issues with finishing.. *Sight*

So, these are my Top Ten picks, what books did you choose ? Or would you recommend some others ?

  1. Hope you enjoy Red Queen, it wasn't one of my favourites, but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would and enough that I wanted to read the sequel.

  4. Lady Midnight! I need to obtain a copy of that. It sucks having a small book buying budget. I have to wait for my brithday, and I also really need to read the other books I bought/obtained before I buy anymore.

I enjoyed Red Queen. It's true that it's not very original, but I was entertained while reading it. I actually finished the book in about 5 hours. (I read the book from around 10pm and I finished it at I think 6 in the morning. Bad decision start a book that late at night.)

I also need to read End of Days, but I'm waiting for my library to get it. I don't own the first two, I borrowed them from NetGalley, and Im super cheap and don't want to buy the last book.

Stars Above is a nother one I want to borrow from the Library. It's a beautiful book, but I already read most of the short stories in this book. The author had posted them on I think it was Tor, and I read them there.

Cruel Beauty is an amazing re-telling of Beauty and the Beast. I loved it, and hope you do too.

I completely forgot about Every Last Breath. I read the other books in this trilogy and just haven't gotten to it yet. I also don't own the book, so reading it hasn't been a top priority. Also I wasn't sure how I felt about her letting the readers choose who she ended up with.

Sorry, I had a lot to say. lol Happy Reading! Marie @ Pages to Explore
