Top Ten TUESDAY 29.03.16.

I had a great weekend ! It has been a while, but I finally had some rest and time to read. Spend time with my family for Easter, and I went to the Dutch Comic Con with my husband and nieces, which was lots of fun ! I’m not one of those persons who dress all up and stuff, but I love walking around and watching how other people are dressed.^^

So this week we have another Top Ten Tuesday, and this week the theme is 10 Of My Most Recent Five Star Reads. Luckily, I read a lot of good books recently, so I will have no trouble getting ten books ! Though, some books I’ve given 4.5 stars, but that comes down to a 5 star if we round that off. And I even have a 6 star ! So here they are, in order from most recently read to the older ones.

Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes. I just finished this one yesterday and I really liked it !! It was very exciting and it really appealed to me. I just could not put it down, even though I should have stopped earlier last night because of work. ^^

If We Were A Movie by Kelly Oram. Finished this one last week and it was a very romantic and cute read that I would totally recommend !! REVIEW.

Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare. This one was just breathtakingly good !! I loved it so much that I had to give it 6 stars, because it was sooo much better than anything I’ve read in a while. And that says something, because I’ve read a lot of good books recently ! REVIEW.

Vision in Silver by Anne Bishop. Great read, very thrilled about how this one will continue ! Gave it 4.5 stars.. because I want a bit more romance.. but the plot itself is just fantastic ! REVIEW.

These Vicious Masks by Tarun Shanker and Kelly Zekas. Ohhh I really loved this one !! It was so exciting and something completely different. It really lived up to my expectations, and I hope don’t have to wait too long for the next one !! REVIEW.

Illuminae by Amy Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. Such an original read ! I really liked how this book was shaped and how different it read from “normal” books. Really enjoyed it ! REVIEW.

Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton. Really liked this one, with magic and deserts. Had a lot of fun reading this book and a great main character ! REVIEW.

Cinder & Ella by Kelly Oram. This was a re-read for me, because I was really in the mood for this book. It is very dramatic and sad, made me cry a lot, but with a very satisfying happy ending.

Dirt on the Ninth Grave. How funny that this one comes out as number nine on my list as well ^^ I love this series so much, it is one of my favourites at the moment. And well, I really love the main character, and the others too !! REVIEW.

Murder of Crows by Anne Bishop. Just like the other one in my list from this series, this book was just great. I really love the world and creepy setting. Can’t wait how it will continue ! REVIEW.

So, these are my Top Ten picks, which books did you love recently ?

  1. Oooh great list!! I really need to get on to reading Rebel of the Sands - I have it on my shelf and I'm just itching to pick it up but seem to be drowning in other magnificent reads. Ah, the life of a bookworm. Also!! If We Were A Movie sounds fabulous and I haven't heard of it before?! *shakes head* the universe has let me down. *speedily adds it to TBR*
