Top Ten Tuesday. Freebie Week.

So instead of a topic for the Top Ten Tuesday, it is Freebie week ! Meaning that we can all choose our own topic for this week. It took me some time to come up with one, but eventually I found one ^^ So this week I have a Top Ten Series I Need To Complete My Collection. I have a lot of series in my bookcase that are only partially complete, like I still miss the last one or, in some cases, even the first one… Or I own only one book in an entire series.. So here my list of books I would love to have in my bookcase to complete those series. One being the series I want most of all, to ten, series that I want a little bit less than the one above it ^^.

Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones !! I only own the first book, and I really want to have the others too. It has grown to one of my favourite series ever, so they have to be part of my collection.

EVERYTHING Kelly Oram. I’ve come to love her books very much over the years, and when a new one is in the planning I’m counting the days until it comes out. Downside being that she is not very popular in this country, so I have to ship the books from overseas.. which is expensive XD So even though she is one of my favourite authors, I own zero books of her.. Totally sucks.

Timber Wolves Trilogy/Seers & Shifters by Tammy Blackwell. I really enjoyed these series, but it is not very well-known... So I had not yet had the chance to find this series for a decent price.

The Covenant series from Jennifer L. Armstrong. I had some issues with the first book, mainly because I think it has way to many similarities with VA.. but after some persuasion from a friend I continued this series, and I really enjoyed the books the further it got, and the more it went its own way. Recently I saw really cool covers as well, so I would love to have those for my collection.

Perfect Chemistry series by Simone Elkeles. One of the first books I’ve read that had no fantasy/supernatural element in it. I was kind of sceptic, but when I started the first book I was completely hooked and LOVED IT. I own the first one, but I would love to have the other two.

Chicagoland Vampires by Chloe Neill. I have the first six books, and I would love to have the others as well. Great series that I thoroughly enjoyed and would love to continue soon.

Legacy series by Clara Kluver. It came into my hands out of nowhere, and I read the entire series in one sight. I could not let it go. But a couple years have passed now, and I still have not seen the books anywhere.. So I would love to find them and put them between my other awesome books in my bookcase.

The Hollows by Kim Harrison. I’ve read the first ones in Dutch years back, and really enjoyed them. But, after the first 4 I never found any others in Dutch.. So some time back I saw the first one on sale and bought the first 4 in English too.. of course, in English the others are available too, but I still need to save some more money before I can buy those and complete my collection.

Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry. I only own the second one, with Beth in it.. and I love to have the others too. I already finished this series, but I would love to have them all in my bookcase. Great series !

The Kanin Chronicles by Amanda Hocking. I love her books and I’ve read this series last year. I already own some others, like the Trylle series and My Blood Approves (that I got from my niece when she visited the USA), but I would love to put this series next to it in my bookcase.

So this was my top ten for this week, but how about yours ? What topic did you choose ? And do you still have books you would love to own ?

  3. YAY! Great choice of topic this week. I always love freebie week as people always do such amazing topics! I love having all my series complete too. It's horrible. Sometimes I buy every book in a series even before I have read the first book in it... I clearly have a problem.

Here's my TTT post if you want to check it out. I picked non-book romances I would love to see get book adaptations.

  4. Ah, now I see why you were excited to see the Charley Davidson series on my list! I really do want to read it. I've heard great things, and it was recommended by someone who has similar taste to me. I actually have the Kanin Chronicles! (Please don't hate me lol.) I won it in a giveaway, and I'm really excited to read it. I also just downloaded the ebook of Being Jamie Baker, but I haven't read it yet either.

I don't buy many physical books, but there are some series I'm dying to have on my shelves. I do have the first three books in Steel & Stone though, so I want to complete that one :-)
