I was searching for a good meme for the Friday.. and lucky me, I found two weekly meme’s that a lot of people combine !! So here is my Friday 56 combined with Friday Book Beginnings !!

The rules of this one are pretty simple, you share the first sentence of the book that you are reading and share your thoughts, impressions etc. on this. And of course, don’t forget to share your URL on the Rose City Reader !

This week I’ve picked my next read, The Siren by Kiera Cass. I love her series The Selection and I’m very curious if this one is just as addictive. I wanted to read this one sooner, but when I found out she re-wrote it, I wanted to wait for the new edition.

 FIRST sentence.

“This might sound weird, but right after we met, I did some research. I thought it was kind of fascinating that you could hear but not speak. I found out that people who aren’t deaf are usually mute for one of two reasons.
