FRIDAY 56 & Book Beginnings. 04.03.16.

Hello everybody ! I’ve got to admit I underestimated how much work needed to be done in our new home. I am SO TIRED. We’ve been working our ass of for the last couple of days and I’m completely broken. Normally, I ALWAYS read before I go to bed, helps me to relax and stuff, but the last two days, I barely even hit the pillow before I was already gone.
I hate how little time I have to read.. But just a few more weeks XD Then everything is done and taken care of, atleast for a little while.. and I can continue my reading in my new book room ! (Yes I get my own library room)
But well, first I;ve got to get through my grandmother’s funeral tomorrow…

So, this week I have another great read I would like to share, because I was so busy I barely read.. Hell I haven’t even finished Vision in Silver (even though it is a great book, very anxious to continue), but I started this one too. And as usual, I’ve combined my Friday 56 with Friday Book Beginnings !! So check them out.

Friday 56 is hosted by Freda’s Voice and Friday Book Beginnings by Rose City Reader.

I was very curious about this one, the plot sounded very interesting and different than most YA, so when I had too much trouble focussing on the deep and intriguing plot of Vision in Silver I grabbed this one. So far , I’m still interested.. though I get a bit annoyed with the main character every now and then. I hope that will get better later on..
But well.. my book for this week is…

FIRST Sentence.
I’ve been locked inside the Prunne Asylum – where happiness comes to die – for three hundred and seventy-eight days. (Or nine thousand and seventy-two hours). I know the exact time frame, not because I watched the sun rise and set in the sky, but because I mark my walls in blood every time the lights in the good-girls-gone-bad wing of the facility turn on.

 56%.
We’re – in the middle of nowhere, nothing but green grass and mountains for miles. It’s pretty, but not my idea of a well-guarded hideout where we can recover in peace.
Silver lining: I’m not freezing.

I hope I made you a bit curious about this book.. ^^ Have a great and wonderful weekend.

  1. Fabulous cover. I would grab it for that reason alone...that and the name Gena Showalter. I have only read one of her books, but it was fabulous.
